Archive for the ‘the Kiddies’ Category

It’s been quite a while since I’ve gotten the chance to photograph some kiddie pictures. I’ve been so busy with pre-wedding sessions I’ve forgotten how different a kiddie session can be. It’s two completely different worlds of photography, I tell ya. To help me ease back into my rhythm were Maci, a.k.a. Ms. Rosy Posy, and her brother, Masen. =) A location down the road from their house provided us with their first backdrop. Even at 8:30 in the morning it was SCORCHING hot. The southern heat has officially arrived folks!
We finished the session by capturing Maci and Masen in their natural habitat, their rooms. Their Dad is a builder/residential contractor, so Maci and Masen are the benefactors of the coolest rooms I have ever seen. The rooms looked like they could be featured on an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Please be my guests and follow me into the wonderful world of Maci and Masen.

Paris

April 15, 2009

I could have sat there and listen to Paris talk forever. She had the cutest little lisp. OH!!! look at all the BuhDeess!!! Translation: OH!!! look at all the birdies! hahaha. We were supposed to take Paris to the park for the photo session, but b/c it’s spring break for the kids, the park was packed! So i decided to take her down to the French Quarter instead. She was soooo amazed at how big the quarter was, she couldn’t stop giggling and smiling. Paris was SOOO excited, and we were still in the parking lot! =P I was a little hesitant at first to take a child down to the quarter to shoot. I knew there would be a lot of walking and I was afraid that she would get aggravated after a few blocks of walking. It was the COMPLETE opposite. We were the one’s that was tired and she was the one who didn’t want to go home!

Well, with out further-a-do!
