Welcome to my humble little blog space. Ive been working day and night to revamp the web page and to add this blog. I didn’t know CSS coding was sooo difficult! Good thing I have some myspace coding experience to lean back on =) I will be updating the blog with new pictures and videos on a weekly bases! Please come back often to visit us and leave comments. We officially kick the blog off with a very personal pre-wedding session.
Congrats to my brother Henry and my already sister but soon to be official sister-in-law… Jackie!!! (did cha get that one?) =P hahahha.
First, I would like to express how proud I am of my brother Henry. He found the love of his life and is the first of all the children to get married.
For their session I wanted to provide them with a unique experience, something completely different than my other shoots. And needless to say it was…
My pre-wed sessions usually last 2 hours or so, but with Henry and Jackie, I put them through a grueling 7 hours of shooting… and that’s NOT including preparation and re-prep time! Hahaha I have also never seen anyone get so much support and pampering during a photo shoot the way Jackie did for her pre-wed session.
They have something special, the two of them. The romance Henry and Jackie share and passion they have for each other radiate through in EVERY picture. I could feel the love the two of them have for one another even through the camera lens. It’s been a long time coming…
Henry, you looked really sharp in that tux. That bow-tie really did make you look like James Bond! hahaha
Jackie, WOW! I’ve known you for how many years? And I never in my life would have thought you could work the camera like you did. Proof alone is in the pictures…
The funny thing was, for most of the day it didn’t dawn on me that this wasn’t just an ordinary photo-session. It wasn’t until we were on our way to the 2nd session when I looked over at Henry and it finally hit me… Wow, my brother’s getting married!
A special thanks goes out to Chris and Thao for assisting with the shoot. Pebblez, I think you spoiled me with all the work you did that day. From constantly fixing Jackie’s hair and retouching her makeup to always making sure the dress was in the right position. The makeup looked great and it shows in the photos! We were also blessed by the presence of Yen, our flower girl/water boy, although I still think she only volunterred to do those tasks just so she wouldn’t have to pay the admission fee. Nancy, Johnny and of course Big Jimmy were also there for moral support. =)
Lastly, I would like to be the first to welcome our newest member of the Phamily, Jackie.
FINALLY some pictures! hahaha
I burned an unedited version of this video and brought it over to moms for dinner the other night. She literally replayed it on the dvd player SIX times! The last four times she played it, she paused it at EVERY transistion. She was about to replay it for the seventh time until I finally told her, “That’s enough MOM!” hahaha. Hope you guys enjoy it the way mom did also.
[PRESS PLAY TO VIEW THE VIDEO]
You should press play to start the video, then hit pause and leave it there for about 3-5 minutes depending on your internet connection speed. This will allow the video to buffer and it won’t seem like it’s freezing up on in the middle of viewing. If for some reason you can’t click on the play button, simply refresh the page and that should fix the problem.
I had the pleasure of photographing Johnn..uhh, I meant Nathan and Kelly today =P Nathan and Kelly will be first time parents to baby girl London. London isn’t even born yet, and it seems like Nathan is already planning like 5 more kids hahaha. We had a great shoot that was in the middle of nowhere. Captured a beautiful sunset! Thank you guys for laying in the grass and fighting the gnats just so I could get my shots. It’s been a week and Im still itching from that session hahaha. It was worth it though, after the sun finally set, Nathan and Kelly spoiled me to a wonderful dinner at Gia’s! All I have to say is, for all future bookings in the Biloxi area, dinners at Gia’s will be part of my session fee from now on. =)
Congrats to Thuy, Kimmy, & Hang for graduating the Pharmacy class of ‘09 at Xavier University! This was my first time ever stepping foot on Xavier’s campus. The art pieces they chosed as lawn decorations for the campus are ummm… really unique to say the least. Almost reminds me of the Botanical Garden at City park. We had to break this up into two sessions. I photographed Thuy a week before by herself. Then I got the two crazy ones the week after. (jk) =) It would have been wayy more fun if we had gotten all 3 of the girls together for the shoot. I would have had so much fun with that Xavier sign hahaha. Anyways, let’s go back and relive the session shall we? And yes Hang, the back as in… the back of your front =)
Enjoy and once again, congrats ladies!
